The Fulfilment of Prophecy
The Fulfilment of Prophecy
T’is strange that God would make a promise and not bring it to pass. The greatest challenge for hoping on a promise is waiting for it to come to pass.
To say “I believe” when I first heard the prophecy is easy, to repeat the same refrain when the earth feels hard as iron and water like a stone…trying times
But when God decides that the fullness of time has come, the promise will be like a tree that has borne its fruit…satisfying.
Mortal man can only trust himself to the hands of a loving God who has promised that at the right time He will fulfil what He has promised.
God offends my mind by delaying His Promise sometimes to give me better perspective on how to use the promise. It is when God offends my mind that the truth about my motives comes to light.
