The Coming Ones

Some years ago, I wrote about the coming generation of leadership. This was contained in an article titled “The Return of the Saints
Their training was to last for a period of 10 years and most of them would function in the market place. Their training would be called – the training of Joseph, the training of David and the training of Daniel. They would be trained in the passion of these 3 fore-runners because the 3 handled the spiritual & secular and created a spiritual platform for God to operate from. (You can read the rest of the article here).
I recently met one of those coming ones. His training is going as anticipated but with tears he told how hard it has been. He is one of the best in his field and currently works with a company where his efforts have not been rewarded. The advice most people have given him is to change jobs. Someone as good as he is would have no problem getting another job. But God says stay, and stay he has bearing 2 years under the yoke. He says his job no longer gives him joy. His joy is in the fact that he is obeying God. He runs to work with all his passion because, in his words, “he is working for God”.
Sounds like a partial re-enactment of the story of Daniel, Joseph or David. They could have chosen the easy way out – eat the king’s food, be like everyone else, lay with Potiphar’s wife, be the master of the house, kill Saul, be king of all you survey, but they waited for God. That’s the sort of training the Coming ones would go through.
If you believe you have a responsibility among the coming ones, make a responsibility to do a study on the lives of these 3. You will go through their training.
I await the day when these ones will take their stand on the earth, when they will come out from the caves, prisons, or under the testing of the chief eunuch.
I long for the Return of the Saints.
