The Beautiful Ones are not yet born

Recently, I had a long telephone chat with an old friend. I would describe his side of the conversation as the frustration of the modern day Christianity.
When we were younger, we were involved in organising Christian concerts and at different times we held leadership positions in the same fellowship.
He had become a Christian early in life. His growing years were spent in the church. His frustrations were simple; the comfortable life was not anymore fun.
The comfortable life of attend church on Sundays, “make money on week days and be at service on select week evenings had lost its appeal. There’s got to be something more.
Beyond his personal frustration of the life he led was the loss of the beautiful ones. It seemed those beautiful ones he had known had gone back into the womb. They refused to be born in to the workplace.
It wasn’t that they backslidden, they just seem to blend into the dull scenery. The beauty they once radiated seemed to be in hibernation, probably waiting for some mystical event.
We could all add our names to the list, the list of the No Longer Beautiful.
What a shame! The beautiful ones are not yet born in the workplace
