A Tale of one family

A Tale of one family
Two of my friends recently confided to me of moral failures on their part. It was humbling to hear them acknowledge their sins.
Their failures reminded me once again of the mortality of the vessels that carry the glory of God in them. I did not goad them…they were too repentant for that. The next challenge would be reclaiming a damaged testimony.
How would they talk about separation when they were guilty of the same things they once opposed? I felt the hurt deeply because I have learnt that hurt to one is hurt to all.
My testimony will also be on scale because my friends have failed. The world has an example to scorn me with.
The Father above is still the Restorer of Broken Testimonies and the Rebuilder of shattered confidences. Somehow, someway, He’ll work out His purposes.
But for now, I’m hurt. My family is involved…God’s family.
