The Saints’ Series – The Return of the Saints

Some years ago, I wrote about the next generation of leadership God is raising. Now and again I feel the need to remind my friends of the words I wrote.
These coming ones will be trained in the calling of David, Joseph and Daniel. These men were passionate people who learnt to carry what is referred as secular with the spiritual. They created a platform, using the areas of their influence, for God to work in.
Like these ones, the coming leadership will go though a season of training where they will be ostracized and denied what is “rightly” theirs. They will be laughed at for choosing the longer route to glory because they know in whom they have believed.
Some of these ones will have to be sent out of their countries for a period of training – just like the ones before – Daniel in Babylon, David in Philistia, Joseph in Egypt. They must always keep in mind the Name of the God that sent them into these foreign lands.
I sense urgency because when I wrote in the years past, I mentioned a timetable of heaven, a period of 10 years for these coming ones to be trained. It’s past half way now. The time of fulfilment is near.
Wake up o sleeper, rise from the dead and Christ will shine on you

Reason for my season

It’s a wonder to choose based on reasons which cannot be easily explained.
Everyone expects me to be married - how hard can it be to choose from all your friends? Sometimes I even wonder if I’m not at fault.

But long ago, when I cast my lot with heaven's King, I had decided in my heart, "If Your presence doesn't go with me, I don't want to leave this place."
My unwritten motto - unless the Lord builds a house, the labourers labour in vain.

I will marry - not for the companionship that comes with it or the sensual delights that mark the road but for the singular joy of bringing God's will to pass on the earth.

I will wait until God looks from on high and says "it is not right for this man to be alone, I will bring him a help-comparable fit for him"
